Ceramic Tiles of Italy
is heading to the upcoming Coverings
show in Las Vegas to unveil its latest collections and announce the
winners of the 2011 Design Competition. Taking place March 14-17, 2011,
the show will have close to 50 Ceramic Tiles of Italy member
manufacturers represented.
The central exhibit by Ceramic Tiles of Italy will feature a range of
tile collections, and will also showcase two ventilated wall facades.
After the show, all of the materials will be donated to the Frank Lloyd
Wright School of Architecture for an upcoming project on the Taliesin
campus in Arizona.
On March 15, the winners of the 2011 Design Competition will be
announced, while on the March 16, Ceramic Tiles of Italy will celebrate
the finished Installation Design Showcase, created by Chicago-based HGTV
personality Ali Azhar, on the show floor. Throughout the show, Italian
cuisine will be served at the café and coffee bar in the Italian
Pavilion. This year, the Pavilion’s Italian culinary team—Carlo Donadoni
and Graziano Sbroggio, of Spuntino in Miami— will create daily menus
tied to four of the tile-producing regions in Italy: Toscana, Campania,
Emilia Romagna and Veneto.
