Capital Cooking and Modenus Announce Grill Giveaway

Just in time for summer! Modenus, in conjunction with Capital Cooking, announced the winner of the Capital Cooking Giveaway, an online contest that awarded one winner a grill valued at $8,800.

Modenus, the interior designer resource and community platform, and Capital Cooking launched the online contest to drive home the branding power of social media. The contest, which ran for 21 days, did not have any rules other than just entering by following a link on the Modenus website. By reaching out to more than 30,000 followers on Twitter, Modenus and its network of design bloggers, over 1.5 million brand impressions were created over the course of the contest.
 
“We thought we’d really kick off the warmer weather with a great giveaway, and Capital Cooking was extremely generous and very willing to participate,” said Veronika Miller, CEO and founder of Modenus. “With so much going on online, getting people’s attention is becoming increasingly difficult, and while we weren’t trying to up the ante too much, Capital Cooking was very supportive of our out-of-the-box thinking.”
