Victoria + Albert is offering a new CEU program focused on the historical aspect of baths and its relevance to the design community.
“Being passionate about bathrooms, we are thrilled to offer our knowledge and service through this educational program,” said Javier Korneluk, VP of North American sales. “This is a natural step for us as we continue to help designers, architects and specifiers to create beautiful bathrooms worldwide.”
The first Victoria + Albert CEU course, “The History of Bathing: The Past Informs the Present,” aims to place bathing in a historical context. It gives interior design professionals an opportunity to learn about how long the bath has been around, as well as the social, technological and aesthetical forces that have shaped its development. The course also brings to light the role of the bathtub—how the evolution of modern life and the advent of the shower have turned the bathtub into a luxury experience rather than an everyday commodity. The course offers 0.1 CEU units for participants.
The sessions will be held in bath showrooms across the country, giving designers, architects and specifiers an opportunity to meet and network with their local bathroom experts.
