Artisan Group will launch Counters For A Cause in October 2012 to help create residences for U.S. troops.
Artisan Group countertop fabricators across the country will host a National Yard Sale, selling granite and other stone remnants, with three percent of proceeds going to Homes for Our Troops to build specially adapted homes for injured veterans. During Artisan Group’s inaugural sale last year, $32,000 was raised for veterans.
“Our soldiers give up many things, including parts of themselves to defend the freedom we Americans hold so dear,” said Chad Seiders, executive director, Artisan Group. “We are proud of them, and consider it a privilege to give something back to them.”
