RealWorld DesignWeek, the nationwide mentoring program created by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), is inviting designers to sign up as mentors.
Scheduled to take place during the week of November 4-10, 2012, the program was created to educate future interior designers through in-person experience and pairs ASID student members with interior design professionals and ASID Industry Partners. It is open to all members, free of charge. More than 4,000 ASID members have participated since the program launched in 2007.
ASID member companies and individuals can visit here to sign up to host a student for one day in November. RealWorld DesignWeek activities may include attending client meetings, visiting a design center, touring past projects and construction sites and exploring library materials.
