Danze and its employees recently hosted a half marathon benefiting the Lymphoma Research Foundation. The race, which took place in Seekonk, MA, included nearly 60 participants and earned thousands of dollars for further lymphoma research.
“I wanted to find a way to support this great cause,” said Gary Cardono, Danze director of hospitality sales and the race’s founder. “It’s part of Globe Union’s (Danze’s parent company) core value to be a positive force in the world. I’ve seen many people who have been touched by this disease. I hope my efforts will positively impact those who are affected by this and other cancers.”
The next Danze event, a 5k road race, is slated for April 7, 2013, at Francis Farm in Rehoboth, MA. For more information, visit www.oceanstatemultisport.com. All proceeds will once again benefit the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
