ASID has launched its new website, ASID.org, which was created to engage the design community and showcase the expertise of ASID members.
One of the new options on the site allows users to find a nearby designer. This homepage feature highlights rotating designer portfolios based on a user’s location. Users can view designer portfolios and refine their search by specialty and expertise.
Site users will also have additional design research and resources. Videos, publications and checklists are available to help clients choose and hire a designer and learn more about special topics, which include sustainable design, aging-in-place, design for children with special needs, and safety in the home.
The site also offers access to the industry companies, products and educational materials through a comprehensive listing of ASID Industry Partners, speakers, and web events. The new ASID.org puts the emphasis on membership service, user experience and the value of interior design by highlighting the talent of ASID members.
