Aquatic has appointed bathware, plumbing and building industry veteran, Stuart Leigh, as its president. Leigh rejoined Aquatic at the beginning of the month, bringing nearly three and a half decades of relevant experience to the job, including a previous stint as the company’s president.
“We’re thrilled to have Stuart back on board at Aquatic – he is very knowledgeable about our business including our customer base, manufacturing processes, logistics operations, distribution channels and more,” said Jim Nicol, chairman, Aquatic. “He’s highly skilled at enhancing operational efficiency and helping companies achieve exponential growth. Most importantly, Stuart shares our commitment to and passion for always doing what’s best for customers.”
Leigh will build on the foundation laid by his predecessor, Gary Anderson, who helped navigate the company through a challenging economy and building market as well as a company merger. Leigh takes the helm as the company prepares to increase its national presence in 2014, in part, because of the expansion of its relationship with a major U.S. home building retailer.
“I look forward to working with all Aquatic team members and customers to take the business to the next level – we certainly have all of the elements for continuing success,” said Leigh. “We already lead the market with a trusted brand, have identified new marketplace needs and opportunities in the coming, post-recession economy and enjoy strong support and resources from the global group of companies that owns Aquatic.”
