Danze was recently awarded the President’s Award by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). Created in 2009, the NKBA President’s Award recognizes contributions and support to the association and the industry as a whole.
“Danze has been a great pillar of support to the NKBA and the entire industry,” said John Morgan, NKBA past president. “They have played an instrumental role in our local chapters, educational partnerships and national events such as the NKBA Gala, 2014 Design Competition and 30 Under 30 Program.”
Morgan also cited the influence and involvement of Danze CEO and president Michael Werner, who delivered the State of the Industry Address at KBIS 2012, has served on the NKBA Board of Directors and was instrumental in helping shape and implement the NKBA strategic plan.
“Danze is honored and delighted to receive this award,” said Werner. “Our core value is to be a positive force in our industry and communities, and our participation in the NKBA is central to our involvement with the broader K&B industry. Personally, I have enjoyed working with the tremendously talented NKBA staff and officers, my fellow directors and industry colleagues.”
