The recent ASID Interior Design Billings Index (IDBI), based on a July survey, showed that business conditions have improved and show positive momentum across most of the design industry space.
Both the ASID IDBI, at 60.7, and the ASID Inquires Index, at 67.3, have recovered from a slower pace of growth and show that firms of all size classes are growing. Looking into the future with a six-month forecast, ASID panelists’ expectations reinforce the idea of continued expansion, which is echoed by the Consumer Confidence Expectations Index and the Dodge Momentum Index.
