Emerald Expositions and KBIS were big winners at Tradeshow Executive Magazine’s (TSE) annual event to honor the 50 fastest-growing events in North America for 2014. During the magazine’s Fastest 50 Awards and Summit last week in Chicago, Emerald and KBIS were honored with the following awards:
· Growth leader in attendance for 2014 (sheer numbers) – KBIS was #1 with an increase of 12,284 qualified attendees vs. 2013.
· Growth leader in attendance for 2014 (percentage growth) – KBIS was #1 with a 65.3 percent growth in qualified attendance vs. 2013.
· Growth leader in paid NSF for 2014 (percentage growth) – KBIS was #8 with a 29.2 percent growth in paid net square footage (NSF) vs. 2013.
The key indicators for this distinction are percentage growth in NSF, growth in the number of exhibitors, percentage growth in attendance and overall growth in attendance.
Emerald Expositions also received the TSE Grand Award as top show organizer for placing five events in the Fastest 50. The trade shows honored grew faster than 99 percent of the U.S. trade shows held in 2014.
