Hobsons|choice is delighted to have won the prestigious 2016 BKU Bathroom Showroom of the Year Award for its showroom in Swindon, Wiltshire, U.K. Presented at a ceremony on June 23 at Shakespeare’s iconic Globe Theatre in London, the event was hosted by Paul Sinha, star of ITV’s daytime quiz show “The Chase.”
“This is an unexpected and welcomed pat on the back for the business,” said Richard Carter, hobsons|choice managing director. “Our Swindon showroom, established in 1977, has always been identified with high-end kitchen, bathroom and interior design. It is a great privilege to have been recognized for all of the hard work our team puts in every day, especially amongst such a respected group of finalists from across the U.K.”
Before bringing home the award, the company’s Swindon bathroom show floor was updated with 13 room sets that offer a new way of presenting cohesive bathroom layouts. The spaces are separate, different in style and relate to the size of bathrooms the company’s clients have at home.
In addition to hobsons|choice, Swindon, Stone & Chrome earned recognition as Highly Commended and Award Finalists included Bathroom Trading Company (Maidstone), Modern Homes (Leamington Spa) and Spencers Designs Ltd.
