Furnipart has introduced Sirocco Tones, a new palette of four matte finishes inspired by the landscapes, architecture and natural materials of southern Europe and the Mediterranean. Reflecting a growing preference for warmer, earthier colors, the collection brings together four distinctive shades, ranging from rich terracotta to soft, sophisticated grays.
Warm, earthy colors have become increasingly prominent in interior design in recent years. Burnt orange, terracotta and other natural tones continue to gain popularity, with emerging trends suggesting that warmer color palettes will play an even greater role in the years ahead.
For Furnipart, this shift provided the inspiration to explore how one distinctive color could form the foundation of an entire palette. The result is Sirocco.
Tones: Matt Muted Terracotta, Matt Desert Beige, Matt Marble Grey, and Matt Volcano Grey
Carefully selected to reflect both current and emerging color trends, the four finishes share a strong connection to the natural world. Drawing inspiration from desert sands, limestone, sun-bleached marble and volcanic landscapes, the palette creates a harmonious balance of warmth, depth and understated elegance.
The name Sirocco takes its inspiration from the warm southerly wind that travels from the Sahara across the Mediterranean. This connection between the raw beauty of the desert and the timeless architecture of southern Europe forms the creative inspiration behind the collection.
Matt Muted Terracotta is the collection’s richest and most expressive shade. Inspired by the iron-rich sand dunes of the desert, its deep terracotta-red color and earthy undertones bring warmth, character and a distinctive Mediterranean influence to interiors.
Matt Desert Beige is a warm, refined beige with subtle golden undertones. Inspired by the natural meeting of limestone and desert sand, it introduces warmth without overwhelming its surroundings. Calm and understated, it provides a versatile foundation for the palette.
Matt Marble Grey is a soft, light gray with a balanced, almost luminous appearance. Drawing inspiration from ancient, sun-bleached marble architecture, it offers a warmer, more subtle alternative to traditional white. The result is a timeless finish with an effortless sense of architectural elegance.
Matt Volcano Grey is the deepest shade in the collection. Inspired by volcanic landscapes and rugged natural terrain, its rich gray-brown color bridges the gap between traditional greys and warmer earth tones. With its mineral-inspired character and subtle depth, it brings a sophisticated, contemporary feel to interiors.
Together, the four finishes create a carefully balanced palette, combining the richness of terracotta with three softer, more understated shades. Each color has its own character, while their shared warmth and natural influences allow them to work together effortlessly, creating opportunities for both subtle combinations and striking contrasts.
A new approach to finishes and design
Sirocco Tones represents a new direction for Furnipart, moving away from the glossier finishes explored in recent years towards a softer, more understated matte aesthetic. The collection brings together the creativity of renowned Danish designers VE2 and Jakob Kamper, both of whom have longstanding design partnerships with the brand. Their new designs sit alongside carefully selected existing pieces from the Furnipart portfolio, creating a considered balance between innovation and familiarity. United by the collection’s distinctive matte finishes and harmonious color palette, each design offers a fresh interpretation of form, material and color, while remaining true to Furnipart’s design heritage.
