A coherent evolution of the Octo collection, Octo X reinterprets its distinctive codes through a new material expression and an even more rigorous language. The project stems from a desire for simplicity — reducing form to its essentials in order to enhance proportion, material and function, transforming each element into an architectural presence.
Octo X is defined by a distinctive identity shaped by the balance of rigorous geometries. Cylindrical volumes, planes and edges come together in a carefully calibrated composition, where proportions and junctions play a central role in defining the whole. Nothing is superfluous. Every detail contributes to an object with a discreet yet highly distinctive presence. The act of use is also part of this pursuit. Interaction with the product is intuitive and natural, seamlessly integrated into the form without interrupting its continuity.
The choice of the new material, AISI 316L stainless steel, is both technical and cultural — a noble, durable and sustainable metal capable of enhancing the design, emphasizing its material and structural qualities while ensuring high performance over time. The surfaces engage with light as it moves across the volumes, gradually revealing their geometries and details. Changing reflections enhance their depth, while the tactile quality of the metal conveys a sense of solidity and precision.
This material character is expressed through a palette of finishes designed to expand the possibilities of the project: brushed stainless steel, PVD brushed chocolate, brushed British gold, brushed gold, brushed total black and brushed copper.
