Interior designer, product designer and creator Amber Guyton of Blessed Little Bungalow introduces her first book, “Soulful Maximalism: A Colorful Guide to Living Boldly at Home.” The book, available on Oct. 6, is an inspiring guide to embracing bold color, layered interiors and deeply personal design, encouraging readers to create homes that tell their own stories.
Guyton believes that your home should be a love story about you, your dreams and what brings you joy. With “Soulful Maximalism” as a guide, she encourages readers to embrace the life of a maximalist through color and vibrant styles that showcase who they are and where they came from, while balancing a tidy and flexible design.
In this inspirational visual reference full of tips and tricks of interior design, Guyton explains how to be a maximalist at home and bring life and joy into any space.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Guyton has always valued the importance of family and home. She began her career in advertising and later product marketing in the financial services and tech industries. A passionate champion for personal finance and coming from humble beginnings, she launched Blessed Little Bungalow (BLB) as a hobby, creative outlet and blog to inspire people to decorate their homes affordably.

In 2021, she left her fintech marketing career and took BLB full time. As an interior designer, content creator, influencer, product curator and product designer, Guyton has been featured and recognized by notable organizations and publications such as HGTV Magazine, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Forbes and many more. Outside of design and entrepreneurship, she enjoys traveling the world, hiking, exploring Atlanta neighborhoods and new cuisines, and spending quality time with her loved ones and dog Ralph.
