Febal Casa’s Miami flagship now showcases Onda, the new collection it created with ZHA (Zaha Hadid Architects), which turns the motion of the Adriatic Sea into sculpted glass and brings nature into the home. It also marks the brand’s bigger ambition in Miami: complete, customizable Italian interiors, premium yet within reach.
The collection debuted at Milan Design Week. Its starting point is the geology of coastlines — eroded rock and the fine striations that waves carve into stone over time. A kitchen island and a sideboard translate that slow erosion into sculpted form. Metal-effect cast glass fronts catch light like the surface of water and shift with the room and the hour. Inside the sideboard, extra-clear glass shelves lighten the piece and echo the sea’s glassy surface.
Patrik Schumacher, principal at ZHA, calls the work a long-held design dream, recreating the subtle beauty of nature. The island scales to fit any kitchen, framed in aluminum in black or champagne, with worktops in fine materials like stoneware, Laminam and Neolith. The glass comes in four finishes: metal Onda, metal bronze Onda, metal champagne Onda and metal iridium Onda.
