With the introduction of Pixel and its integration into collections such as Sabil and Vestige, WOW Design expands the possibilities of ceramic design for swimming pools, spas and other wet areas. Conceiving wellness spaces as a continuous architectural experience where water, light and ceramic surfaces interact in perfect harmony, as in Sukabumi, Marble and Aqua, the company interprets the essence of water through volcanic stone, marble and aquatic landscapes.
WOW Design has developed a ceramic universe that approaches wellness spaces from a holistic perspective, conceiving well-being as an architectural experience in which water, material and light interact to create environments of calm, balance and connection with nature.
Within this vision, WOW ceramics become the element that brings together swimming pools, spas, showers, terraces and interiors, creating a seamless material continuity that unifies the project and transforms the perception of space.
At the heart of this concept are Sukabumi, Marble and Aqua, three collections specifically developed for swimming pools and wellness environments. Inspired by Indonesian volcanic stone, marble and aquatic landscapes, they offer different interpretations of the relationship between water and architecture.
Available in an 11-by-11-cm format, Sukabumi translates the chromatic richness of natural stone into a palette of whites, greens, blues and graphite tones. Marble, also in an 11-by-11-cm format, reinterprets marble in sand, green and graphite shades, while Aqua combines 11-by-11- and 11-by-22-cm formats with a decorative pattern inspired by leaves floating on water. Three distinct collections united by a shared ambition: to create spaces where wellbeing emerges from the continuity between architecture, nature and material.
The evolution of WOW Design’s wellness universe is driven by an ongoing exploration of the interaction between water, light and material. This research has led to Pixel, a 15-by-15-cm porcelain format that reinterprets the traditional mosaic through a precisely engraved grid on a continuous surface. Initially introduced within the Sukabumi and Marble collections, Pixel transforms the way light reflects on ceramic surfaces, creating greater visual depth and a constantly changing perception beneath the water.
Thanks to this format, collections originally conceived with a more architectural approach, such as Sabil and Vestige, can now be applied to swimming pools, spas and other wet areas. Sabil brings the richness of its organic textures and elongated formats into aquatic environments, while Vestige reinterprets marble through surfaces where texture and the imprint of time become defining features.
Both collections preserve their distinctive aesthetic identity while expanding the possibilities for designing continuous architectural projects, where a single collection naturally accompanies the entire spatial journey, from interior spaces through to the swimming pool.
In this way, WOW Design’s wellness universe evolves from a collection created specifically for aquatic environments into a comprehensive architectural vision in which water, light and ceramic once again come together in a shared language. Material continuity, rich textures and the interaction with light make every surface an essential part of the wellbeing experience.
