Riad Tile has long been known for its handcrafted zellige, and its new Tangier Collection might be their most elevated yet. Inspired by Morocco’s northern coast, where the Mediterranean and Atlantic converge, the seven glazes range from hazy, barely-there mists to ink-dark indigos that feel almost architectural in their depth.
What makes zellige compelling is the variation baked into every tile — the way light hits differently depending on the angle, the hour and the glaze. That quality is front and center here. Pearl blue reads almost ethereal in softer light. Agadir blue brings the saturated richness of deep coastal water. And midnight blue is exactly what it sounds like —dramatic, dimensional and impossible to ignore. Steel grey rounds out the collection as a quietly sophisticated anchor. Pictured is Moroccan blue.
The Tangier tiles from Riad Tile are available in 4 by 4, 2 by 6 and select mosaic formats, beautiful for kitchens, bathrooms, bars and statement walls.
