Gaggenau Expressive Series Ovens

Gaggenau’s Expressive Series spans ovens, combi-steam ovens, combi-microwave ovens, a fully automatic coffee machine, warming drawers and vacuum drawers – all designed to integrate dimensionally and aesthetically within the kitchen.

The Expressive Series Oven features a 19-method heating system that includes two additions new to Gaggenau: a redesigned convection Plus system and a full-surface broiler built behind the enamel lining, the first of its kind, which delivers radiant heat across the entire cavity without exposed elements. Bottom heating reaches 550 degrees Fahrenheit for baking stone use, and a three-point core temperature probe monitors internal temperature across the width of a roast rather than a single point.

The self-cleaning cycle runs at high heat to burn off residue with a heated catalyzer that reduces odors during the process. The interface activates on proximity, and the appliance connects to the Home Connect app for remote monitoring and control.

The Expressive Series Combi-Steam Oven combines convection heat and steam across five humidity levels — 0, 30, 60, 80 and 100% — giving the cook precise control over moisture at every stage of preparation. A full-surface broiler, concealed behind the enamel, extends that range further, adding the ability to brown and gratinate within the same appliance.

Together, these three heat sources cover a wide span of technique: sous-vide at temperatures as low as 120 degrees Fahrenheit, crust-formed breads, reheated dishes that retain their original texture and roasts monitored by a multi-point temperature probe. Maintenance is handled by a removable cleaning cartridge, and the oven accommodates either a fixed plumbing connection or a refillable water tank depending on the installation.
