In collaboration with creative visionaries Carolina Martinelli and Vittorio Venezia of Martinelli Venezia, contemporary Italian lighting brand Lodes unveiled the innovative chandelier interpretation Axia, a standalone suspension lamp that represents a delicate balance between light, form and technology. This “small system of order and freedom” reinterprets the archetype of the chandelier through a contemporary lens, where technology becomes the narrative and function is elevated into a subtle, continuous decorative gesture.
Defined by a rigorously considered construction, the piece is capable of illuminating a space through its mere presence, even when switched off. This renders Axia ideally suited for a variety of settings. It inhabits the environment with a presence that is both bold and discreet, never intrusive. Lodes offers Axia in one size, 80 cm, and two finishes, glossy bronze, which enhances the warm, decorative quality of the light, and black chrome, which emphasizes its contemporary spirit.
