AI for Interior Designers Launches Certificate Program

Published: December 23, 2025

AI for Interior Designers, founded by interior designer and educator Jenna Gaidusek, recently announced the official launch of the AI for Interior Designers Certificate Program. This program is a multi-semester, CEU infused certification built specifically for professionals in the interior design industry seeking to integrate AI into their professional workflows with confidence, clarity and ethical grounding.

The new program distinguishes itself by combining formal AI education with the debut of the AI App Studio, a suite of AI-powered applications created by a designer tech team immersed in the industry. This pairing offers a powerful learning experience. Designers do not just learn how AI works but also apply it through tools tailored to the creative and technical demands of real interior design projects.

“Designers have been asking for practical AI tools and trustworthy education,” said Jenna Gaidusek, founder and president of AI for Interior Designers. “So we built both. This certificate program gives designers structure, guidance and community, while the App Studio gives them tools that actually support their creative process, not replace it.”

A CEU Infused Program Built for Working Designers

Two years after launching her first AI for Interior Designers class, Gaidusek is introducing the Certificate Program, a culmination of everything she has learned, taught and built during that time. The program blends live instruction, hands-on practice and real-world application tailored specifically for interior designers.

Each semester includes a three-week series of six live 90-minute classes, along with three optional live makeup sessions. With the full schedule, semesters span approximately 90 days, and quarterly enrollment provides access from the open enrollment period through the end of the semester. Participants also receive recordings, transcripts and downloadable resources; access to the AI APP Studio and IDCEC CEU credits for select live sessions. Enrollment is flexible with single-semester, annual, quarterly or team options.

The curriculum covers ethical use of AI, creative workflows, project integration, client communication, visualization, business applications and emerging tools that are all structured to align with the natural progression of a designer’s work.

“Our industry is moving fast,” said Gaidusek. “Designers deserve a place where they can learn together, stay ahead of the changes and feel good about how they’re using AI. This program is that place.”

Introducing AI App Studio for Interior Designers

Included with enrollment, the AI App Studio is a groundbreaking addition to the program. This dedicated suite of AI tools is created specifically for interior designers and powered by Google Gemini’s advanced AI capabilities.

The first tool in the App Studio, Project Inspo Assistant, acts as a creative partner for designers, transforming ideas, brand assets and reference images into client-ready visuals.

Key features include guided design modes, such as Mood Boards, Flat Lays and Paint Palette Exploration; luxury room renders and short-form video animations; conversational and region-specific editing; a designer-friendly interface with dark/light modes; export-ready assets for client presentations and thoughtfully set daily limits to promote ethical and intentional usage.

“This App Studio is something our industry has never had before,” said Gaidusek. “I build apps as part of my own workflow. Instead of going to a chat thread in ChatGPT or Gemini, I ask how I can turn that process into a repeatable, visual format through an app.

“Those tools evolve inside the App Studio, shaped by continuous user feedback. These are not generic AI features. They are intentional, specialized and built to solve the real, everyday challenges designers face.”

A Program Built From Experience and Industry Need

Gaidusek created AI for Interior Designers after recognizing how quickly AI was reshaping the field and how few designers had access to training that met them where they were. She launched her first class, a Midjourney course, in Nov. 2023 and has been leading the industry in AI education for designers ever since. As both a practicing designer and a natural educator, she saw a widening gap in skills and confidence and set out to close it.

“I want designers to feel excited about AI, not afraid of it,” she said. “AI should support our creativity, not compete with it. This program gives designers the education, tools and community they need to feel confident heading into the future.
