New 242 Design Studios Open at ADAC in Atlanta

Published: October 11, 2025

Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC) has announced that the recently developed 242 Design Studios are now open and nearly 90% leased. With more than a dozen leading design firms settling into bespoke new offices that reflect their creativity and vision, one more office will be announced shortly, leaving two left to lease. The milestone marks another evolution for ADAC’s role as the Southeast’s premier design campus — uniting top talent in an environment designed for inspiration, collaboration and connection.

Announced in 2024, followed by the initial roster of designers unveiled in early 2025, the 12,500-sq.-ft. wing on ADAC’s second floor was purpose-built to meet the needs of architects and interior designers. Boasting abundant natural light, shared conference rooms, flexible gathering areas and an elevated aesthetic, the 242 Design Studios offer a polished home base in the heart of Buckhead’s design community.

“Seeing these studios come to life is incredibly rewarding,” said Katie Miner, general manager of ADAC. “Each designer has approached their office as a true reflection of their brand — deeply personalized, welcoming, functional and inspiring. Together, they create a community of design excellence that strengthens ADAC’s position as the region’s creative hub.”

An official ribbon-cutting event was held on September 10. ADAC’s 242 Design Studios community includes:
