Hydro Systems has expanded its collection of freestanding whirlpool tubs with the addition of the Picasso Freestanding Whirlpool Bathtub. As the second seamless freestanding model in the Hydro Systems portfolio, Picasso features a fully integrated whirlpool system concealed within the skirt and a flush access panel located behind the ergonomic backrest, making it visually unobtrusive without interruption of the tub’s sculptural silhouette.
Unlike freestanding whirlpool tubs that appear bulky, rely on oversized decks or compromise bathing well depth to accommodate equipment, the Picasso cleverly conceals a self-contained hydrotherapy system within a sleek, sculptural form. It offers the best of both worlds — a true hydrotherapy experience without giving up the look people expect from a freestanding tub.
Part of Hydro Systems’ acclaimed Designer Collection, Picasso joins the Jacqueline and Nina as one of three freestanding models now available with integrated Whirlpool systems. Previously, Picasso could only be ordered as an air tub, with the blower remotely located.
In addition to Whirlpool, clients have the option of adding Thermal Air or a combination system, allowing users to further customize their wellness experience in a freestanding design. Hydro Systems’ other signature hydrotherapies, such as Cold Plunge, Hydro Indulge or Hydro Fusion, are also available for integration.
Defined by sweeping curves that extend outward like the bow of a ship, the Picasso Freestanding Whirlpool Bathtub is crafted from high-gloss, seamless acrylic and measures 72 by 40 inches with a 125-gallon capacity. An ergonomic backrest slope enhances comfort for extended soaks, while the non-porous, easy-to-clean surface is engineered for long-term durability.
The tub is offered in three standard colors — white, biscuit and bone — as well as premium finishes, including black and sterling silver. Like all Hydro Systems products, the Picasso is manufactured in the U.S. and built to rigorous quality standards, combining precise craftsmanship with materials engineered for long-term performance.
