Alexander Dornbracht, managing director of Kallista, has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Kallista and Robern, part of Kohler’s Luxe Division.
Dornbracht has an interesting background, having grown up in the kitchen and bath industry. As a fourth-generation Dornbracht, he has a unique perspective and depth of knowledge that continues to serve as a strong foundation for leadership and entrepreneurship. As his name implies, he is from one of the leading German kitchen/bath manufacturers, and served as president and CEO until 2021 when Dornbracht was sold.
Dornbracht has embarked on a five-year strategic vision to position Kallista in the ultra-luxury market. Under his stewardship, the brand launched new collections like 002 and Guise and most recently at KBIS Bezel and Aileron. Last April, Kallista showed for the first time at the international trade show Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Dornbracht built his career in multiple roles in sales and marketing organizations across various industries, and he holds an international MBA from the University of San Diego.
His heritage in the kitchen and bath industry has allowed him to grow up with a unique perspective and depth of knowledge that continues to serve as a strong foundation for leadership and entrepreneurship.
