For decades, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has presented its prestigious Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards to NARI members who have demonstrated outstanding work on their remodeling projects. To better reflect the professionals that NARI serves, the association has rebranded the program to “NARI Remodeler of the Year.”
“With its new name, the awards shine a light on the evolving industry, which includes multiple professionals who bring remodeling projects to life,” says Jason Hensler, NARI National President. “As such, the NARI Remodeler of the Year Awards will continue NARI’s decades-long history of honoring exceptional results in remodeling projects.”
While the name is new, the Contractor of the Year’s legacy as one of the premier award programs in the United States recognized by industry leaders and peers will remain unchanged.
“NARI is committed to enabling the industry for the future of remodeling,” Hensler says. “Changing the name of our awards program helps us demonstrate that commitment to our members and consumers.”
NARI members may submit residential and commercial projects to showcase their excellence in 44 categories, from kitchens and baths to architectural and landscape design. Judging focuses on problem-solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and entry presentation. In 2024, NARI received more than 600 entries from seven regions across the United States, representing over $230 million in remodeling projects.
