Paolo Bertazzoni Honored by Italian President

Paolo Bertazzoni, CEO and President of Bertazzoni, a company famous in the world for producing kitchen appliances, was awarded today the prestigious title of “Cavaliere del Lavoro” (Knight of Labor) by the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella. The honor has been conferred annually since 1901 to maximum 25 entrepreneurs, both men and women, who have significantly contributed with their business activities to the promotion of the national economy and, with a high level of commitment to ethical and social responsibility, to the improvement of the living and working conditions in the country.

Born in 1955, Paolo Bertazzoni has been the CEO of Bertazzoni since 1999 and represents the fifth generation. He leads the company with innovative leadership and an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. His ability to combine tradition and modernity has allowed Bertazzoni to grow and prosper, while keeping its Italian roots strong and promoting an international approach.

Founded in 1882 by Francesco Bertazzoni in Guastalla (RE), one of the first registered brands in Italy in the industrial field, Bertazzoni is the oldest family-owned appliance company in the world, with over 140 years of history and listed in the Italian Register of Historic Enterprises. Today, the company operates in the historic Guastalla plant, where it produces more than two hundred thousand units per year, and has seven commercial branches across Europe, Australia, Asia, and the United States. It exports to 60 countries and employs around 250 people.
