American Standard Honored for Philanthropic Work with NJ Shelter

November 1, 2017

American Standard, part of LIXIL, was recently honored at the 2017 Champions for Catholic Charities dinner, sponsored by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen (CCDOM), for its philanthropic work renovating Naomi’s Way, a family housing shelter located in New Brunswick, N.J.

Earlier this year, American Standard celebrated the completion of renovations at Naomi’s Way. Working in partnership with CCDOM, which runs this facility, American Standard donated more than $100,000 in bathroom and kitchen fixtures, faucets and labor renovation funds, plus more than 330 hours of employee volunteer painting time to help remodel the building.

Accepting the award was Jeannette Long, vice president of marketing communications for LIXIL Americas (holding plaque), and employees who volunteered with this project.
