NAHB is now accepting proposals for educational sessions at the 2018 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS). The show, to be held Jan. 9-11, 2018, in Orlando, Florida, is the largest annual light construction show in the world, drawing homebuilders, remodelers, developers and product manufacturers representing all facets of the housing industry.

Each year, NAHB selects nearly 300 speakers to present education sessions at IBS on an array of industry topics ranging from sales and marketing, to technology, design and remodeling. NAHB is looking for education session ideas that are original and full of innovative content geared primarily to audience members with more than 10 years of industry experience.

“The International Builders’ Show is the education and networking event of the year for our industry, and the sessions we offer are certainly among the biggest draws,” said NAHB Chairman Granger MacDonald. “We are seeking educators and speakers who are experts in their field and want to share their knowledge in a lively, engaging fashion.”

Because these speaking opportunities are highly competitive, NAHB has provided a guide to completing each proposal and a list of topics that audiences say they want to hear about most.

Both NAHB members and non-members may submit education session proposals. Submissions must be completed online by April 21.
